When and where is TechTides taking place?
TechTides Derry 2026 is on Tuesday 27 October at the Millennium Forum, Derry~Londonderry BT48 6EB.
What time does registration open?
Registration will open from 8.15am. We’d recommend arriving early to grab a coffee, get your badge and settle in before the opening remarks at 9am.
What themes will be covered on the day?
You’ll hear from people working at the front edge of AI, innovation ecosystems, digital product, fintech, startup pitching, and what it really takes to scale a business. Full agenda at techtides.co.
What’s the startup pitch all about?
The startup pitch competition is one of the highlights of the day. Up to 10 early-stage startups from across the island of Ireland will pitch on stage for a £3k cash prize. Applications are open until 14th September 2026.
How do I get to the Millennium Forum?
By bus: Foyle Street Bus Station is a four minute walk from the venue, with regular Translink services.
By train: the Derry~Londonderry railway station is around a 15 minute walk away, or a short taxi ride, and is served by Translink NI Railways.
By car: sat nav postcode BT48 6EB. Several public car parks are within a five minute walk of the venue. Please note the venue sits on a steep hill, and there are Blue Badge parking spaces on Linenhall Street nearby.

Will there be photography and video on the day?
Photos and video will be taken throughout the event. By attending, you’re happy for your image to be used in TechTides promotional and marketing materials. If you’d prefer not to be photographed, just let one of our volunteers know when you arrive and they’ll make a note of it.
How will I spot the TechTides team on the day?
Our volunteers will be easy to find, just look out for the TechTides t-shirts! They’ll be at registration and around the venue all day, so don’t hesitate to grab one of them if you need anything.
Do I need to bring ID?
No ID needed, just your booking confirmation, either on your phone or printed.
Can I get a refund if I can’t make it?
Refund requests for paid tickets are accepted up to 7 days before the event, minus any booking or transaction fees. After that date, refunds won’t be available unless the event is cancelled by the organisers. Full details in our Terms and Conditions.
