1. Overview

By registering for or purchasing a ticket for Techtides (the “Event”), you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions, as well as any additional guidelines and policies issued by the event organizers, including our Privacy Policy.

2. Ticket Types

2.1 Free Tickets

A limited number of free tickets are available.Free tickets are subject to availability and registration requirements.

2.2 Paid Tickets

Paid ticket options provide access to enhanced benefits. Pricing and ticket tiers are listed on the conference website and on Eventbrite.

3. Registration and Payment

  • All paid tickets must be purchased through our official channels:

    • The Techtides website

    • Our official Eventbrite page

  • Payments must be completed at the time of booking.

  • Ticket prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.

4. Refund and Cancellation Policy

  • Free Tickets: If you are unable to attend, we ask that you cancel your free ticket as soon as possible to allow others to attend.

  • Paid Tickets: Refund requests for paid tickets will be honored up to 7 days before the event minus any non-refundable booking or transaction fees.

  • After this date, no refunds will be issued except in cases where the event is canceled by the organisers.

5. Event Changes and Cancellation

The organizers reserve the right to:

  • Modify the event program, speakers, schedule, or venue at any time.

  • Cancel or postpone the event due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., public health concerns, weather, force majeure events).

If the event is canceled, paid ticket holders will be offered a full refund (excluding transaction fees), or the option to transfer their ticket to a rescheduled date.

6. Attendee Conduct

All attendees are expected to abide by our Code of Conduct, which promotes a safe, inclusive, and harassment-free environment for all participants. The organizers reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any participant violating these standards.

7. Photography, Recording, and Media Use

By attending the Event, you consent to:

  • Being photographed, filmed, or recorded by official event personnel.

  • The use of your likeness in post-event materials, marketing, and promotional content, both online and in print.

If you have concerns or do not wish to be photographed, please notify the registration desk upon arrival.

8. Liability

The organisers are not responsible for:

  • Personal injury, loss, or damage to property during the event.

  • Travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by attendees in the event of cancellation or rescheduling.

Attendance is at your own risk.

9. Data Privacy

Your personal information will be processed in line with our Privacy Policy and GDPR regulations. By registering for the event, you consent to the collection and use of your data for event management and marketing purposes.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
